January:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Keep steps and sidewalk clear of snow and ice
  • Inspect fire extinguishers
  • Test smoke detectors
  • Clean the bathroom vents
  • Clean the range hood vents
  • Lube the garage door springs and self closers

February:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Keep steps and sidewalk clear of snow and ice
  • Clean the bathroom vents
  • Clean the range hood vents

March:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Keep steps and sidewalk clear of snow and ice
  • Clean the refrigerator coils
  • Clean the seals and sanitize the dishwasher and washing machine

April:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Service A/C units
  • Schedule sprinkler set up and inspection
  • Schedule the pool set up and inspection
  • Drain, clean and refill the hot tub
  • Clean the garbage and recycle bins

May:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Clean the BBQ and refill propane tank/check the gas connection’s
  • Clean the gutter and check the down spouts
  • Fertilize the grass
  • Wash the exterior of the home and windows before it gets to hot outside
  • Drain and flush the hot water heater or service the on demand unit.
  • Check the stairs and hand railings for the deck
  • Check the auto reverse on the garage door operator

June:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters clean or replace as required
  • Test the GFCI outlets
  • Clean the dryer vent
  • Clean and service gas fireplace
  • Pool set up and inspection for leaks and operation.
  • Repair or replace damaged screen doors and windows

July:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Inspect fire extinguishers
  • Test smoke detectors
  • Clean the bathroom vents
  • Clean the range hood vents
  • Lube the garage door springs and self closers
  • Fertilize the lawn

August:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Mulch the garden beds
  • Exterior finishing touch ups
  • Clean the refrigerator coils
  • Clean the seals and sanitize the dishwasher and washing machine

September:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Service furnace
  • Schedule chimney sweep for wood burning stove/fireplace
  • Schedule sprinkler blow out and winterization
  • Schedule the pool shut down and winterization
  • Drain, clean and refill the hot tub
  • Clean the garbage and recycle bins

October:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Clean the BBQ and refill propane tank/check the gas connection’s
  • Clean gutters and down spouts
  • Clean the bathroom vents
  • Clean the range hood vents
  • Lube the garage door springs and self closers

November:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Service snowblower or electric broom
  • Check door and window weatherstrips, repair or replace as required
  • Test the GFCI outlets
  • Check the auto reverse on the garage door

December:

  • Check HVAC filters including the HRV filters and clean or replace as required
  • Keep steps and sidewalk clear of snow and ice
